The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynch drives through and clinches with Hurwitz against the cage.
Hurwitz stops a takedown attempt from Lynch.
Hurwitz wants to get back to striking at distance but Lynch won't allow it.

Lynch successfully pulls guard.
Hurwitz is looking to work some ground and pound but Lynch has wrist control.
Hurwitz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lynch on the ground.
Lynch keeping moving, preventing Hurwitz from controlling successfully.
Hurwitz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lynch has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Lynch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lynch stands and throws Hurwitz's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hurwitz shoots in for a takedown but Lynch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lynch closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hurwitz's guard.
Hurwitz is striking but Lynch is not phased and passes to half guard.
Lynch seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hurwitz wants to control the action here but instead Lynch manages to pass to full mount!

Lynch is working for a guillotine from mount but Hurwitz frees his head quite easily.

Lynch fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hurwitz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lynch wants to control the pace but Hurwitz is squirming around nicely.

Lynch looking to secure an arm triangle but Hurwitz defends it well.
Hurwitz sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Lynch is pressing down on Hurwitz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hurwitz is holding on for now.
Lynch is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lynch frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Lynch has hold of Hurwitz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hurwitz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lynch wants to control the pace but Hurwitz is squirming around nicely.
Hurwitz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hurwitz is bucking up trying to escape but Lynch cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Lynch! Hurwitz is hurt baaadly! Lynch is firing away with more strikes - Hurwitz is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
