The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smith as he avoids it easily.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
McWrestle regains half guard there - taking advantage of Smith's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Smith is just content to waste time from the top position. McWrestle takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
