Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kelly (ranked 1551 p4p, 218 weight class) and Thor Hammer (ranked 1462 p4p, 209 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Thor Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly throws a hook to the side of Hammer's head but Hammer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hammer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hammer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kelly.
Kelly throws a shot from downtown. Hammer moves away and avoids it.
Hammer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Kelly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hammer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kelly throws a lazy uppercut
and Hammer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kelly's knee momentarily.
Hammer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hammer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hammer throws out a counter right but Kelly avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelly throws a leg kick
and Hammer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hammer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kelly.
Hammer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kelly with a body shot.
Kelly uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hammer.
Kelly connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Hammer staying out of range there.
Hammer throws out a counter right but Kelly avoids it with no problem.
A lazy left from Kelly finds it's target.
Kelly lands with a right hand.
Jack Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly missing with a left hand there. Hammer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kelly jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kelly throws a body shot but no joy.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Hammer moved out of range nicely.
Hammer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hammer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kelly to score with a decent uppercut.
Kelly throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hammer counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kelly fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kelly throws a hook but Hammer avoids it easily.

Good exchange - Kelly coming out on top.
Hammer's coach down at LOD London BALLS OF STEEL was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hammer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kelly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kelly lands a high kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hammer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kelly was well out of range. Poor timing from Hammer.
Kelly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kelly takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hammer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kelly misses with a body punch
and Hammer counters with a big head kick but Kelly shrugs it off.
The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kelly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hammer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hammer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A little jabbing left from Hammer on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kelly staying out of range there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kelly checks the leg kick.
Kelly throws out a leg kick but Hammer moves out of range and Kelly only half commits.
Kelly connects with the punch.
Kelly tests Hammer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kelly throws a lazy uppercut
and Hammer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kelly loads up on a big right hand but Hammer slips the punch.
Kelly backing away here, and Hammer unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
No joy there for Kelly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kelly throws a wild body kick that Hammer sees coming a mile off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hammer! But no joy.
Kelly throws a hook but Hammer avoids it easily.
A low kick from Kelly is predictable there
and Hammer counters with a right hand to the body.
Kelly tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hammer drops his hands momentarily and Kelly takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hammer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kelly tries to work over Hammer's front leg with a kick but Hammer checks it.
Kelly throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hammer counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kelly misses with a looping left.
Hammer connects with a body shot.
Kelly throws a body punch but Hammer moves out of range.
A clash of legs there as Hammer blocks the low kick.
Kelly throws a looping overhand right but Hammer ducks down to avoid it.
Hammer looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kelly throws a lazy body kick
and Hammer counters with a low kick, right behind Kelly 's knee.
Kelly looks to land a body kick but Hammer moved away.
Hammer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kelly with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Kelly dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

letting Hammer counter with a right hand.
Kelly throws a hook but Hammer avoids it easily.
Hammer appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kelly throws an overhand right that lands on Hammer's shoulder, as Hammer tries to avoid the shot.
A jab from Kelly misses.
Hammer only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Kelly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hammer can do to turn this around?
Kelly throws a looping overhand right but Hammer ducks down to avoid it.
Kelly misses with a hook
and Hammer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kelly misses with a lunging right hand
and Kelly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kelly rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hammer counters with a crisp right that sends Kelly to the canvas! Hammer follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thor Hammer!
Thor Hammer bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
