The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva rushes Longstride and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Silva has Longstride pressed against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Silva as the two fighters clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Silva.
Silva leaning his opponent against the cage.
Silva lands an elbow that stopped Longstride in his tracks for a moment.
Longstride tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A short left from Silva.
Silva lands a body punch.
Silva lands an uppercut.
Longstride is rocked!
Silva has Longstride pressed against the cage. He pushes Longstride back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Silva throws a beautiful elbow that sends Longstride crashing to the floor! Silva piles on the pressure with more strikes! Longstride is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
