Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Snot Slurper (ranked 84 p4p, 12 weight class) and Hendrik Vermeulen (ranked 340 p4p, 46 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snot Slurper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hendrik Vermeulen!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermeulen ducks right into an uppercut from Slurper.
Vermeulen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A nice side step and Vermeulen releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Vermeulen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slurper.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vermeulen! But no joy.
Slurper tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Vermeulen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Slurper throws a combination that misses
and Vermeulen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vermeulen misses with a hook. Slurper ducked under it nicely.
Slurper lands a nice hook to Vermeulen's body. Vermeulen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vermeulen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Vermeulen is keen to just control but Slurper is a slippery customer.

Vermeulen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Slurper has hold of Vermeulen's hands but Vermeulen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Vermeulen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slurper keeps working.

That was a close round but I would say that Snot Slurper will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Snot Slurper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hendrik Vermeulen.

Slurper cracks Vermeulen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slurper lands a brutal uppercut that launches Vermeulen off his feet! Vermeulen tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Snot Slurper gave a mention to HELLBENT in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
