Osterman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Red Right Hand. Kevin Osterman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong throws a series of punches but Osterman moves out of range.
Osterman avoids the head kick by Kong.
A telegraphed right hand from Osterman misses the target.
Kong thuds a left hand into Osterman's body.
Kong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Osterman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kong sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Osterman misses with a hook
and Kong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A jab from Osterman misses.
Osterman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kong. Kong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Osterman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kong circles away quickly and effectively.
Kong is looking for the big counter here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kong counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Osterman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kong, right into the meat.

Osterman throws an off balance right hand
and Kong counters with a left and a right that stings Osterman.

Kong lands with a nice body kick.
Osterman jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kong! But no joy.
Kong keeps Osterman at a distance using the push kick.
Kong connects with a nice looking jab.
Kong thumps Osterman with a low kick.

Kong needs to keep his hands up - Osterman had a free shot at his head there.

Kong throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Osterman.

Kong throws a leg kick which misses Osterman's front leg but catches the back leg as Osterman tries to avoid it.
Kong scores with a jab. Osterman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Osterman misses with an uppercut
and Kong counters with a nice uppercut.
Osterman throws a hook to the side of Kong's head but Kong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kong lets loose with a powerful body kick. Osterman will feel that in the morning.
Kong walks into a stiff left hand from Osterman.

Kong is rocked!
Osterman lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Kong head around and knocks him out cold! Osterman hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
