Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jab Brown (ranked 7958 p4p, 646 weight class) and Atthapong Payakaroon (ranked 25351 p4p, 687 weight class). Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Atthapong Payakaroon!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Payakaroon misses
so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Payakaroon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Brown thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Brown passes Payakaroon's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Brown is looking for a kimura but Payakaroon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage.
Brown is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Brown has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Payakaroon defend it? Brown steps over the head and cranks it - Payakaroon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jab Brown!
