Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Nukem (ranked 1809 p4p, 211 weight class) and Helge Fossmo (ranked 8898 p4p, 584 weight class). Nukem comes to the cage accompanied by Here comes the boom. Fossmo has chosen Helge Fossmo predikar as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

37 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helge Fossmo!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nukem throws a right hand that misses
letting Fossmo counter with a right hand.
Duke Nukem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nukem thuds his right hand into Fossmo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nukem is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fossmo.
Fossmo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Nukem paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nukem throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nukem lands with an overhand left.
Nukem throws a right hand that Fossmo ducks under and follows up with a left that Fossmo also avoids with ease.
Fossmo slips under a jab.
Fossmo flicks out a counter leg kick but Nukem steps away.
Fossmo defending well as Nukem loads up on a big left hand.
Nukem backing away here, and Fossmo unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Nukem connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fossmo's hands.
Fossmo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nukem.
Nukem lands a left and a right that send Fossmo crashing to the mat, dazed. Nukem thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A nice inside leg kick there by Nukem. That's going to slow Fossmo down.
Nukem throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fossmo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Nukem throws a hook but Fossmo blocks it.
Fossmo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Nukem looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nukem connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fossmo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fossmo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nukem.
Nukem throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A nice side step and Fossmo releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nukem scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fossmo doesn't seem bothered though.
Fossmo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nukem's corner calls for a 1-2. Nukem obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nukem lands with a thumping leg kick.

Nukem shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fossmo's guard.
Nukem is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Nukem works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nukem wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fossmo keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nukem working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Nukem is looking to take a break and control but Fossmo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nukem lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Duke Nukem dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nukem lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Fossmo only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Nukem cracks Fossmo with a good jab.
Nukem lands a nice hook to Fossmo's body. Fossmo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nukem connects with a leg kick. Fossmo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

And Fossmo responds with a good body kick, but Nukem manages to step out the way in time.

Nukem lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nukem shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nukem showed some decent athleticism there.
Nukem lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Fossmo! More strikes land and this one is all over! Nukem jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duke Nukem!

Duke Nukem gave a mention to Sin City Allstars in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
