The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez looks to land a combination. Kaapio sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Gutierrez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kaapio napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kaapio manages to get back to half guard.
Kaapio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kaapio tries to get to full guard but Gutierrez has control of the leg.
Kaapio slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Gutierrez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kaapio holds on and takes a little breather.

Gutierrez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kaapio to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gutierrez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kaapio pulls down on the head and he's put Gutierrez to sleep! This one is all over!
