Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Maximus (ranked 1758 p4p, 246 weight class) and Nejuis Bardamont (ranked 2066 p4p, 285 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bardamont.
Bardamont lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Maximus at a distance.
Bardamont stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Brutus Maximus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bardamont uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Maximus has time to react.
Maximus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at JAG Battle Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Bardamont smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bardamont lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Maximus falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
