Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Lloyd BadWeather (ranked 6650 p4p, 394 weight class) and Reco Penn (ranked 1284 p4p, 130 weight class). Reco Penn acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lloyd BadWeather!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reco Penn!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
BadWeather throws a lazy head kick
and Penn counters with a nice uppercut.
BadWeather moves to clinch but Penn breaks away
and Penn counters with a stiff right hand.
BadWeather throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
BadWeather moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Penn feints a jab promting BadWeather to slip. Penn then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. BadWeather slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Penn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Penn's jab looks to have found its range, popping BadWeather under the eye.

BadWeather is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Penn catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! BadWeather stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? BadWeather walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Penn lands with a straight right. BadWeather didn't see that one coming.
Oh BadWeather is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

BadWeather has Penn up against the ropes in a clinch.
Penn dodges an elbow strike from BadWeather.
BadWeather seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn lands with a short shot to the head.
BadWeather is trying to break the clinch but Penn has him pressed against the ropes.
Penn lands a body shot.

Penn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Penn scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops BadWeather to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Penn away as he looks to land an illegal blow. BadWeather got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
BadWeather takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Penn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
BadWeather moves to clinch but Penn breaks away
and Penn counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! BadWeather falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Reco Penn!
