Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Rain (ranked 785 p4p, 96 weight class) and Konstantin Sokolov (ranked 505 p4p, 59 weight class). Rain comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sokolov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sokolov moves forwards but Rain connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Sokolov is rocked!
Rain lands a big right hook! Sokolov looks hurt but is still standing! Rain lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Sokolov falls down and Rain dives in with a huge hammer fist! Sokolov's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Rain runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Heavy Rain!
Heavy Rain was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
