The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bornholm lands with a good body shot.
Viteazul shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bornholm defends it nicely.
Bornholm moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Bornholm pulls Viteazul in close to prevent any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Viteazul's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bornholm bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Viteazul's head backwards.
Bornholm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Viteazul seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Viteazul.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bornholm! But no joy.
Daniel Bornholm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Viteazul checks a leg kick.

Bornholm throws a wild body kick that Viteazul sees coming a mile off.
Bornholm lands a big head kick that sends Viteazul to the canvas! Bornholm follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
