Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yacob Nilsen (ranked 770 p4p, 122 weight class) and Farley Steve (ranked 254 p4p, 34 weight class). Nilsen comes into the arena with Lil Wayne - Right above it blaring out of the sound system. Steve comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Justin Bieber ft. Ariana Grande - Let Me Think Bout You kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steve looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Steve throws a body punch but Nilsen moves out of range.
Nilsen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steve's hands.
Nilsen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A swing and a miss from Steve.
Steve misses with a left hand
and Nilsen counters with a stiff right hand.
No joy there for Nilsen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Good exchange - Nilsen coming out on top.
Steve takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Nilsen shoots in and gets a takedown into Steve's guard.
Nilsen is standing up over Steve. Steve looks to escape but Nilsen dives into side control.

Nilsen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nilsen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steve has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nilsen is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Steve will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Steve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nilsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nilsen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Steve for as long as he can get away with.
Steve is not content to let Nilsen control the position.
Nilsen throws an elbow but Steve slips to the side and avoids it well.

The referee asks Nilsen politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nilsen prefers to stall for the moment though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steve can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nilsen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Steve is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Steve has hold of Nilsen's hands but Nilsen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nilsen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Steve back to the cage. Nilsen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Nilsen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steve is fending him off so far but Nilsen persists. Nope, Steve circles away and we're back to standing.

Nilsen throws a lazy right hand but Steve sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Steve misses with an uppercut. Nilsen saw that one coming.

Steve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nilsen.
Some bone on bone action there as Steve checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Steve uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nilsen.

Nilsen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Steve has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Nilsen has closed the distance and engaged Steve in a clinch.

Steve bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Steve throws out a counter right but Nilsen avoids it with no problem.

Steve lands a big uppercut and Nilsen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nilsen looks OK. Steve waves Nilsen back to his feet!
Steve tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nilsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Steve.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Steve knocks Nilsen out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
