Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cocky Palboa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Goran Radivojevic!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radivojevic tries for a takedown but Palboa circles away easily
enabling Palboa to counter with a crisp jab.
Palboa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Radivojevic darts in trying to clinch
and Palboa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Radivojevic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Palboa pinned against the cage. Palboa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A little feinted left hand from Palboa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palboa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Radivojevic.
Radivojevic has his takedown stuffed
and Palboa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cocky Palboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goran Radivojevic.

Radivojevic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Radivojevic shoots for a double leg takedown but Palboa sprawls well. He's pushed Radivojevic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Radivojevic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Palboa makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Palboa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Palboa continues to stall.
Palboa wants to sweep here but Radivojevic controlling him for the moment.
Radivojevic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Palboa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Palboa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

and Palboa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Palboa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Radivojevic backwards.

and Palboa counters with a nice right hand that sends Radivojevic toppling to the canvas! Radivojevic scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Palboa finish him?!


Radivojevic is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Palboa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Palboa.
Radivojevic is still on wobbly legs! Can Palboa finish him?
Palboa dips a shoulder and cracks Radivojevic with a mighty uppercut! Radivojevic falls back against the cage and Palboa unloads with a barrage of strikes! Radivojevic is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Palboa screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cocky Palboa!
Cocky Palboa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
