The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ExPeRiMeNt Iv keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
ExPeRiMeNt Iv shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
ExPeRiMeNt Iv moves nicely into side control.
Gruber is looking for a sweep.
ExPeRiMeNt Iv working the body and head with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ExPeRiMeNt Iv content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
We've been hearing good reports from ExPeRiMeNt Iv 's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
