And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manu Mikkonen!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hard slips under a jab from Mikkonen.
Hard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mikkonen.
Hard shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mikkonen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mikkonen scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Mike Hard has been cut.
Mikkonen misses with a leg kick
and Hard counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hard lands a left and a right that send Mikkonen crashing to the mat, dazed. Hard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hard gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mikkonen gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hard is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manu Mikkonen!
Manu Mikkonen gave a mention to Zenith Nutrition (160q/$200) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
