The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loogie moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.

Loogie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Loogie creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Brown's defenses.

It looks like Jamal Brown has been cut.
Brown tries to pull guard but Loogie won't allow it.
Loogie lands a nice elbow.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Loogie.

That has opened up Jamal Brown's cut even more.

Loogie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Loogie closes the distance and clinches.
Loogie lands a nice elbow.

Brown is rocked!

The cut above Jamal Brown's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Loogie finish him?
Loogie misses with a knee to the head.
Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Loogie walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Loogie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jamal Brown's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Loogie content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Loogie lands an elbow inside that Brown shrugs off.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jamal Brown's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
