Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Quin (ranked 651 p4p, 91 weight class) and Michael Cole (ranked 183 p4p, 26 weight class). Quin comes to the cage accompanied by Captain Jack - Iko Iko. Cole has chosen I Won't Back Down as his entrance music. Matt Quin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Cole!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quin lands a head shot.

Cole has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Quin finds it's way round the side to connect with Cole's head.

Cole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Quin throws a hook to the side of Cole's head but Cole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Quin throws a sloppy body shot
and Cole counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Quin looks to score with a jab to the body but Cole is just out of range.
Quin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Cole lands with a shot to the body.
Cole misses with a looping right.
Cole needs to keep his hands up - Quin had a free shot at his head there.
Quin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cole.
Cole gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cole loads up on a big right hand but Quin slips the punch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
