Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adonis Stevenson (ranked 2068 p4p, 230 weight class) and Rhys Crowder (ranked 2035 p4p, 224 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Stevenson stuns Crowder with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Crowder needs to keep his hands up - Stevenson had a free shot at his head there.
Stevenson slips a jab from Crowder.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crowder crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stevenson - the referee stops the clock and Crowder gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stevenson. Crowder manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Crowder uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stevenson.
Stevenson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stevenson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Crowder moves forwards but Stevenson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Stevenson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Adonis Stevenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevenson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
OH! Crowder has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Stevenson smells blood and charges in for the finish! Stevenson unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Crowder sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
