These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nazarov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nazarov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice jab there from Bob.
Bob connects with a solid leg kick.
Bob scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bob throws a body punch but Nazarov moves out of range.
Nazarov scores with a body shot.
Nazarov throws out a powerful jab.
Nazarov throws out a loose jab but Bob uses good head movement to avoid it.

Nice jab there from Bob.
Bob swings for the body but Nazarov moves out of range.

Bob scores with a hook to the body. Nazarov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Bob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bob feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nazarov's calf.
Nazarov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bob misses with a few strikes there.
Good exchange - Nazarov coming out on top.
Bob displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nazarov throws out the jab.

and Bob counters with a series of strikes. Nazarov will be more careful next time no doubt.

That kick from Bob tenderised Nazarov's leg. Nazarov is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Nazarov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Nazarov misses with a looping left.
Nazarov lands with a good body shot.
Nazarov throws a looping overhand right but Bob ducks down to avoid it.
Nazarov is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Bob's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nazarov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bob scrambles back to his feet.
Bob throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bob misses with a wild body shot.
It looked like Nazarov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bob.
Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bob is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nazarov rather than just go for the knockout.
Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nazarov shoots and misses
and Bob counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bob misses with a looping left.
Bob throws a shot from downtown. Nazarov moves away and avoids it.

Bob content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Nazarov controlling the position.
Nazarov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bob's guard.

Bob working for a triangle but Nazarov defends it easily.

Nazarov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bob has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nazarov has managed to get both his arms back between Bob's legs - danger averted.

Nazarov stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bob throws up his legs and catches Nazarov in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Nazarov tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bob! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Silent Bob!
