Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thor Ragardo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragardo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Mircea pushes Ragardo away with a front kick.
Ragardo throws a poor cross that misses
and Mircea counters with a low kick, right behind Ragardo 's knee.
We've been told by Mircea's head coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mircea lands with a shot to the body.
Ragardo dives in for a single leg takedown but Mircea sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ragardo.
Ragardo looks winded!
Ragardo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mircea connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ragardo scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Thor Ragardo has been cut.
Ragardo throws an off balance right hand
and Ragardo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ragardo fails with the takedown
and Mircea counters by moving into the clinch.
Alexandru Mircea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thor Ragardo.
Mircea scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ragardo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mircea lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ragardo.

That has opened up Thor Ragardo's cut even more.

Mircea lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ragardo backwards.
Mircea lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ragardo backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Mircea.
Mircea lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ragardo is rocked!
Mircea dips a shoulder and cracks Ragardo with a mighty uppercut! Ragardo falls back against the cage and Mircea unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ragardo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mircea screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
