The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a kick to the body
and Mcintyre counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mcintyre.
Silva has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mcintyre has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Silva gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mcintyre regains guard.
Silva wants to get up but he can't break Mcintyre's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mcintyre has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mcintyre there as he acknowledges the shot.
