Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Hood (ranked 25218 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Bosa (ranked 3109 p4p, 385 weight class). Bosa has chosen Tee Grizzley- Colors as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bosa clinches up with Hood and pushes him back against the cage.
Bosa will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hood up against the cage.

Bosa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hood has a couple of punches blocked by Bosa.

Bosa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hood tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bosa swivels and escapes.
Hood misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bosa but Bosa pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bosa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnathon Hood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bosa keeps the fight on the outside.
Hood takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hood moves in looking to clinch but Bosa pushes him off.
Hood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bosa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bosa is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Bosa works Hood's body with a nice hook.

Hood takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bosa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hood with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bosa counters with a huge left! Hood is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bosa isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hood from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bosa!
