And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Popeye Theeh!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theeh misses with a takedown
and Paul counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Paul works over Theeh's head and body with a nice combination.
Theeh fails with the takedown.
Paul lands a body shot.
Paul tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Paul moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Paul checks the leg kick.
Paul shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Theeh eats them both and turns towards Paul to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Paul closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Paul is trying to control. Theeh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Paul is really struggling to control Theeh but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Paul is keen to just control but Theeh is a slippery customer.
Paul seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Theeh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Paul feints a jab promting Theeh to slip. Paul then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Theeh slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Paul throws a combination. Theeh tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Theeh shoots for a double leg takedown but Paul sprawls well. He's pushed Theeh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Paul attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Theeh tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Paul makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Paul pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Theeh back to the cage. Paul follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Theeh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
