Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wrecking Ball (ranked 2561 p4p, 322 weight class) and Mitsu Nagai (ranked 2788 p4p, 345 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ball tries to close the distance and clinch but Nagai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nagai shapes to counter with a head kick.
Ball has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Nagai with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Donk. Nagai catches Ball right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Wrecking Ball has been cut.
Ball takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ball cracks Nagai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nagai misses with a body shot.
Nagai lands a jab to Ball's midsection.
Nagai closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ball on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nagai lands a big head kick that sends Ball tumbling to the mat! Nagai takes a step backwards and waves Ball back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Nagai finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ball throwing a counter right hand but Nagai manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ball steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nagai. That one must have hurt.
Mitsu Nagai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nagai lands a big head kick that sends Ball to the canvas! Nagai follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
