Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bonzela Franco (ranked 3118 p4p, 307 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 3079 p4p, 305 weight class). Franco comes to the cage accompanied by Anti Heroi. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bonzela Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Boyka!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka missing with a left hand there. Franco was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Franco is looking to counter with a body kick.
Franco definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Franco moves into range and clinches up with Boyka.
Franco is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Franco lands a nice knee to the body.
Boyka looks winded!
Franco has picked Boyka up - he's going for a ride! Franco dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Franco is controlling the pace.
Franco winds up and cracks Boyka with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Boyka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Franco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Franco looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Franco is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Franco is looking to take a break and control but Boyka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Franco throwing shots but Boyka is blocking nicely.
Franco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boyka makes his way to full guard, as Franco worked for a kimura.
Franco trying to control but Boyka is working from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boyka can do anything to dispel that myth.
Franco loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boyka being controlled here, momentarily.
Boyka told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Franco is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Franco throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Franco decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boyka. Franco does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boyka throws a combination that misses
and Franco counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Boyka to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Franco!
