Ryan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mr. Perfect Theme. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan blocks a jab.
Clifton avoids a kick to the body.
Clifton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ryan.
Clifton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clifton slaps away a takedown attempt from Ryan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Clifton looks to score with a jab to the body but Ryan is just out of range.

and Ryan counters by clinching up.
Clifton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Ryan tries to circle away but Clifton has him pinned against the cage.

Ryan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clifton throws a wild body kick that Ryan sees coming a mile off.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ryan.
Tony Clifton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Ryan.
Clifton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ryan doesn't seem bothered though.

Clifton lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Ryan lands with a nice combination. Clifton backs away looking to recover.

Ryan unleashes a big counter combination but Clifton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ryan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Andrew Ryan has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clifton seems to be stalking Ryan here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Ryan drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
