Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Ray (ranked 24817 p4p, 605 weight class) and Allistar Thorn (ranked 4292 p4p, 427 weight class). Ray comes to the cage accompanied by Kamikaze - Eminem. Allistar Thorn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stevie Ray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Allistar Thorn!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little feinted left hand from Ray on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ray shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thorn sprawls well. Thorn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ray gets slowly back to his feet.

and Thorn counters with a left to the body.
Ray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thorn avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stevie Ray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thorn jabs at Ray's body.
Good exchange - Thorn coming out on top.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ray shoots in for a double leg but Thorn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thorn pinned against the cage. Thorn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ray shoots and misses
and Thorn counters with an outside leg kick.
Ray is breathing heavily.
Thorn connects with a body shot.
Ray on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Thorn looks to land a combination. Ray sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thorn lands with a cross.

Thorn plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Ray swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Ray face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
