The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Build scores with a leg kick.
Delisle takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Build fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Delisle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Delisle scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Build wants to control but Delisle is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Delisle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Build really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delisle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Delisle tries to pass the half guard into mount. Build knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Build is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Delisle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Delisle wants to free his trapped foot but Build is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Delisle with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Delisle seems to be working for a kimura but Build defends the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Delisle is controlling the pace.

Delisle moves nicely into side control.

Delisle is working to tighten his grip on Build's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Build has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Delisle is really squeezing tight and eventually Build passes out! Delisle breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
