The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serpico has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hughes finds it's way round the side to connect with Serpico's head.
Hughes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Vinicio Serpico has been cut.
Serpico avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Serpico thuds his right hand into Hughes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Serpico lands with an overhand left.
Serpico lands a nice hook to Hughes's body. Hughes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hughes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Serpico.
It seemed like Serpico was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

A nice side step and Serpico releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Serpico lands with a nice body kick.
Serpico has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Hughes throws the left hand but Serpico avoids the punch easily.

Hughes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hughes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Serpico.
Hughes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Serpico moves away.
Serpico thuds a left hand into Hughes's body.

Serpico lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
