Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devin Forte (ranked 2674 p4p, 268 weight class) and Kaz Fujita (ranked 2883 p4p, 289 weight class). Devin Forte has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forte shoots for a takedown but Fujita saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fujita misses the jab.
Fujita connects with a body shot.
Fujita throws a body shot but no joy.
Fujita has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Forte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fujita's waist but Fujita gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Forte off to one side.
Forte changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fujita tries to avoid it but Forte manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fujita to the ground. Fujita escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devin Forte. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Forte got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fujita has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Forte has managed to get both his arms back between Fujita's legs - danger averted.
Forte could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
