The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Test shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McCoist napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Test wants to control for a moment but McCoist uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Test trying to control the action but McCoist is working from the bottom.
Test wants to work for an arm triangle but McCoist is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Test has hold of McCoist's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McCoist manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
