The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correira misses with an uppercut.
The fighters circling - Shreve Jr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Shreve Jr misses with a straight left.
Shreve Jr lands with a right hand.
A head kick misses from Correira.
Correira misses with a combination
and Shreve Jr counters with a head kick. That will keep Correira thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Correira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shreve Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nice straight punches there by Correira. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Correira.

Correira unleashes a big counter combination but Shreve Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

and Correira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shreve Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Correira.

Correira pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shreve Jr is out of range and Correira settles back down.
Correira paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Shreve Jr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Correira tries to bum rush Shreve Jr with a series of wild strikes but Shreve Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

enabling Correira to counter with a crisp jab.
Correira darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Shreve Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Shreve Jr cracks Correira with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Correira tries to clinch but Shreve Jr moves away
and Shreve Jr counters with a left to the body.
Shreve Jr throws a looping overhand right but Correira ducks down to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Correira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Shreve Jr moves out of range of the strikes.
Shreve Jr misses the jab.
Correira flicks out a counter leg kick but Shreve Jr steps away.
Shreve Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Correira throws out the jab.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Correira! But no joy.

A little feinted left hand from Shreve Jr on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Correira throws the left hand but Shreve Jr avoids the punch easily.

and Correira counters with a stiff right hand.
Correira is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shreve Jr had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Correira throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Shreve Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Correira manages to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Shreve Jr.

and Correira counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Shreve Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Correira. That did some damage!
Correira tries a low kick but Shreve Jr avoids it.
It looked like Shreve Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Correira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Shreve Jr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Correira.
Shreve Jr appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Correira fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shreve Jr.
Shreve Jr misses with an uppercut. Correira saw that one coming.
Shreve Jr slips under a jab.

Correira looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wesley Correira dominated that round.
That's time! Shreve Jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Shreve Jr jabs Correira to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Shreve Jr misses with a body punch
and Correira counters with a crisp one two that drops Shreve Jr! Correira thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shreve Jr to his feet! Shreve Jr is in big trouble!

Correira is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Shreve Jr is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Correira moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wesley Correira!

A less than humble Wesley Correira misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Larry Shreve Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'WTF??? I told you guys Aaron Thai Guy nerfed my hiddens!'.
