Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Lawerence (ranked 5474 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel King (ranked 3981 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawerence comes to the cage accompanied by HUMBLE.. Nigel King has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Lawerence!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nigel King!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawerence keeps the fight on the outside.
King misses with a looping right.
Lawerence defending well as King loads up on a big left hand.
King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lawerence uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
Lawerence fails with the takedown.
King misses with a wild body shot.
King moves in looking to clinch but Lawerence pushes him off.
Lawerence slips under a jab.

Lawerence clinches.

Lawerence pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A lazy left from King finds it's target.

It looks like Jack Lawerence has been cut.
King waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lawerence.
Lawerence shoots in and drives through. King sprawls well.
Lawerence takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Lawerence. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.

King feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lawerence sprawling to the canvas! Lawerence rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can King finish him?!

Lawerence is rocked!
Lawerence ducks into an uppercut from King and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nigel King!
A relieved looking Nigel King thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Jack Lawerence stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry. Just didn't have it today... I will be back'.
