The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier misses with a takedown attempt - Rashad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rashad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Xavier closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rashad quickly recovers to half guard.
