The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondragon throws a right and a left that Murray avoids nicely.
Mondragon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Murray tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mondragon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mondragon misses with a few strikes there.
Murray bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mondragon misses with a series of wild punches.
Mondragon misses with a two punch combination.
Mondragon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Murray works over Mondragon's head and body with a nice combination.
Murray tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mondragon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Murray looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Murray fails with a takedown attempt.
Mondragon throws a jab but it's blocked by Murray.
Mondragon scores with a nice right hand.
Murray wants to clinch up but Mondragon keeps it at a distance.
Murray takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Mondragon misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Mondragon does no damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Mondragon darts in and clinches Murray up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Mondragon.

Murray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Murray misses with the combination.
Mondragon throws a big counter combination but Murray scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Murray fails with an attempt to clinch.
Murray shoots for a takedown but Mondragon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mondragon fails to land with a series of punches.

Murray gets a clinch.
Mondragon has Murray pressed against the cage, preventing Murray from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Murray misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Murray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Murray moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Mondragon is breathing heavily.
Murray avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mondragon misses with a few strikes there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Murray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
XY Mondragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Murray.

A jab-cross combination lands for Murray and sends Mondragon crashing to the mat! Murray follows him down to the mat - Mondragon regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like XY Mondragon has been cut.

Murray decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Oh Mondragon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murray closes the distance looking for a takedown. Mondragon stuffs it but Murray still has hold of him. Murray picks Mondragon up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Murray slams Mondragon to the floor and that's really hurt Mondragon - he doesn't know where he is! Murray throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
