The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Goodman makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Evander Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Goodman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tyson to the ground. Goodman is now in Tyson's guard.

Tyson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Goodman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tyson, up you get!

Tyson goes for a double leg but Goodman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goodman continues to drive forward.

Goodman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Goodman showed some decent athleticism there.

Goodman decides to stand up.

Goodman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tyson did well to prevent Goodman getting side control.
Goodman winds up and cracks Tyson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Goodman is working for a kimura but Tyson is defending it quite comfortably.
