PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Llosa (ranked 2041 p4p, 247 weight class) and Randy The Show (ranked 4138 p4p, 440 weight class). The Show comes into a darkened arena with his song building. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tktV-Q52CO4 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ernesto Llosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy The Show!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Show lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The Show tries to keep at a distance but Llosa has taken the fight into the clinch.

Llosa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Show uses from the top position.

The Show got a little sloppy there for a moment and Llosa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Show has managed to get both his arms back between Llosa's legs - danger averted.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Randy The Show will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Llosa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Show.

The Show's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
