Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Blaster (ranked 1096 p4p, 171 weight class) and Connor Mac Burns (ranked 1982 p4p, 298 weight class). Burns has chosen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Burns lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blaster has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blaster and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

It looks like Master Blaster has been cut.
Burns throws a body shot but no joy.
Burns throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blaster stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Blaster stuns Burns with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Blaster goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Burns has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burns there as he acknowledges the shot.
Blaster lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Blaster digs a right hand into Burns's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Burns's gas tank.

Blaster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blaster lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Burns connects with a solid leg kick.

Burns closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burns lands in his opponent's guard.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blaster swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blaster has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Burns off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
