Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pretentious Kneecap (ranked 1349 p4p, 134 weight class) and Kotetsu Yamamoto (ranked 1796 p4p, 173 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 2, fighting out of New York, Kotetsu Yamamoto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto slips a jab from Kneecap.
Yamamoto is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kneecap closes the distance but Yamamoto moves to the side
letting Yamamoto counter with a right hand.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kneecap.
We've been informed that Yamamoto has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kneecap lets loose with a powerful body kick. Yamamoto will feel that in the morning.

We've been hearing good reports from Kneecap's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A close second round but Kotetsu Yamamoto will probably get the nod - 10:9.
