Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Callum Pagnozzi (ranked 1064 p4p, 124 weight class) and Matt Hunt (ranked 1218 p4p, 144 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pagnozzi moves out of range of the body kick.
Hunt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Callum Pagnozzi has been cut.
Hunt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pagnozzi throws an overhand right that lands on Hunt's shoulder, as Hunt tries to avoid the shot.
Hunt throws out a counter right but Pagnozzi avoids it with no problem.

Hunt shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pagnozzi eats them both and turns towards Hunt to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hunt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Callum Pagnozzi will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Hunt might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pagnozzi has got the better of the exchanges.

Matt Hunt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matt Hunt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A less than humble Callum Pagnozzi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
