The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mottus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Overlord back to the cage. Mottus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mottus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Overlord thuds his right hand into Mottus's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mottus looks to throw the jab but Overlord is out of range.
Overlord stalks Mottus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mottus's face. Mottus staggers backwards, shaken.
Mottus lands with a nice body punch.
Mottus throws a body punch but Overlord moves out of range.
Overlord wants to clinch up but Mottus keeps it at a distance.
Overlord looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gentlemen Overlord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mottus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Overlord throws out the jab.
Mottus throws a lazy uppercut
and Overlord counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mottus throws a body shot but no joy.
Left hook, right uppercut from Overlord.
Overlord throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Overlord connects with a right hand. Mottus shakes it off.
Overlord changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Overlord keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mottus.
Overlord misses with an uppercut.
Mottus misses with a hook. Overlord ducked under it nicely.
Mottus moves away from the strike by Overlord.

Mottus digs a right hand into Overlord's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Overlord's gas tank.
Mottus lands with a short shot to the head.

Mottus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mottus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Overlord misses with a head kick.
Mottus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mottus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Overlord misses with a low kick as Mottus jumps back.
Mottus now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Mottus moves into the clinch.
Overlord is stalling here.
Overlord tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mottus stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Mottus manages to break the clinch.
Mottus throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Overlord tries to work over Mottus's front leg with a kick but Mottus checks it.
A jab lands there for Mottus.
Overlord staying out of range there.

Mottus lands with a right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mottus cracks Overlord with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Overlord looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mottus finish him?

Overlord is rocked!
Mottus misses the body punch
and Overlord connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oh Overlord is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Overlord misses with a looping left.
Overlord seems to have got his legs back now.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mottus checks a leg kick.
Mottus cracks Overlord with a hook to the temple - Overlord is on wobbly legs here! Mottus swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Overlord falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mottus wins by TKO!
