The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Romero is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Romero circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smith goes for a double leg but Romero avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Romero continues to drive forward.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Romero sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And Romero tries to counter it with a takedown but Smith pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Romero has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Romero arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
