Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Death (ranked 5702 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmine Carsara (ranked 5197 p4p, 533 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Carsara.

It looks like Mr Death has been cut.
A punch combination from Carsara misses.
Both fighters circling a little - Death finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mr Death seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carsara throws a lazy right hand but Death sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Carsara crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Death - the referee stops the clock and Carsara gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Death. Carsara manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Death takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Carsara misses with a wild combination.
Carsara takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Carsara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carsara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Death.
Death thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Carsara if he has to take too many more of those.

Death throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Mr Death's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Carsara lands a left and a right that send Death crashing to the mat, dazed. Carsara thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Death lands a nice looking kick to the body. Carsara takes a step back to recover.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Death. Carsara shrugs it off though.
Death lets loose with a powerful body kick. Carsara will feel that in the morning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carsara throws a right and a left that Death avoids nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Death will probably get the nod.

Carsara on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
