Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Federico Mancuello (ranked 1806 p4p, 212 weight class) and Mario Eikmeyer (ranked 2239 p4p, 246 weight class). Mancuello comes to the cage accompanied by Tenacious D - Wonderboy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Federico Mancuello!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 48 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Eikmeyer!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mancuello uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Horrible takedown attempt by Eikmeyer or perhaps it was just good defense by Mancuello, which made it look bad.

Eikmeyer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mancuello was covering up waiting for the punch and Eikmeyer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mancuello wants to stand and escape but Eikmeyer is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mancuello has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Eikmeyer is proving hard to escape from.

Mancuello decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Eikmeyer, up you get!

Eikmeyer drives through with a takedown into Mancuello's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Mancuello is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mancuello has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Eikmeyer has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Eikmeyer wants to take the fight to the mat but Mancuello manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Eikmeyer tightens his grip and picks Mancuello up, before dumping him to the ground. Mancuello manages to land in guard.

Mancuello manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Mancuello has Eikmeyer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mancuello pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Eikmeyer tumbling to the mat - Mancuello dives into Eikmeyer's guard.

Mancuello pushes Eikmeyer off looking to stand but Eikmeyer dives back in and keeps control.

Eikmeyer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mancuello defends well and Eikmeyer ends up having to push Mancuello into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

It looked like Mancuello was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That was a close second round but I would say that Federico Mancuello will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mancuello lands a big uppercut and Eikmeyer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Eikmeyer looks OK. Mancuello waves Eikmeyer back to his feet!


Eikmeyer is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mancuello lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Eikmeyer up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Mancuello from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Eikmeyer's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Federico Mancuello!
