Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mike Schultz (ranked 20346 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jules Winnfield (ranked 4179 p4p, 0 weight class). And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Jules Winnfield!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Schultz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Winnfield's half guard.

Schultz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Schultz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Winnfield knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schultz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Winnfield for as long as he can get away with.
Schultz is pressing down on Winnfield's thigh, looking to free his foot. Winnfield is holding on for now.
Winnfield wants to improve his position but Schultz is controlling well.

Winnfield is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Schultz has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Winnfield's body.
