Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Lin Shui (ranked 6487 p4p, 525 weight class) and Jandre Vorster (ranked 4285 p4p, 429 weight class). Vorster has chosen Behemoth as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Lin Shui! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 5 losses; Jandre Vorster!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Shui rushes Vorster and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Vorster has hold of one of Shui's legs. Shui is fighting the takedown attempt but Vorster gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Shui has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Shui controlling Vorster's posture.
Shui will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vorster looking to pass the guard.
Shui looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vorster wants to control from the top but Shui keeps moving.

Shui is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Shui in particular looking to stall.

Shui is working for a submission of some sort.
Still in half guard, Shui seems content to control.

Shui tries to pass to full mount but Vorster defends it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Vorster manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Shui got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vorster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shui has managed to get both his arms back between Vorster's legs - danger averted.
Vorster is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Shui is pushing down on Vorster's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vorster is fighting to maintain full guard but Shui has managed to sneak the leg through.
Shui prevents Vorster from improving his position.
Vorster felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Vorster controlling the position well.

Shui wants to pass to mount but Vorster is defending the position.
Shui moves into full mount! Vorster won't be happy about that!

Vorster is squirming around, avoiding Shui's attempts to control the action.
Shui controlling the position easily from mount.

Shui looking to control but Vorster is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Shui swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
