Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zedidiah Goldberg (ranked 981 p4p, 133 weight class) and Wayne Benning (ranked 744 p4p, 101 weight class). Goldberg comes to the cage accompanied by A Warrior's Call. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zedidiah Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Benning!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg misses with a looping right.
Benning ducks under a wild hook from Goldberg.
Benning bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Benning flicks out a counter leg kick but Goldberg steps away.
Goldberg throws a predictable looking body shot
and Benning counters with a straight right hand.
Goldberg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goldberg is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Benning on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Goldberg. Goldberg obviously looking to wear him down.
Goldberg misses with a double jab.
Benning lunges at Goldberg with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Goldberg's hand.
Goldberg swings widly with a right hand
and Benning cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Goldberg misses with a right hand
and Benning counters with a straight right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goldberg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Benning moves away.
Goldberg thows a leg kick but Benning checks it
and Benning counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goldberg misses with a jab to the body
and Goldberg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Goldberg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Goldberg misses with a jab to the body
and Benning makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Goldberg misses with a left hand
and Benning counters with a two punch combo.
Goldberg misses with a right hand
and Benning counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Goldberg badly! Benning follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Goldberg out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Benning finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wayne Benning!
During a confident post fight interview, Wayne Benning thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
