Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cecil Scanlan (ranked 7056 p4p, 101 weight class) and Kallie Coetzee (ranked 5770 p4p, 97 weight class). Coetzee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Outa in die langpad. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kallie Coetzee!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scanlan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Coetzee.
Coetzee ducks under a wild hook from Scanlan.
Coetzee let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Coetzee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scanlan was well out of range. Poor timing from Coetzee.
Scanlan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Scanlan throws a jab but it's blocked by Coetzee.
Scanlan throws a poor cross that misses
and Coetzee counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Scanlan! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kallie Coetzee!
In his post fight interview, Kallie Coetzee started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
